Bacara's Family Restaurant

Offering authentic German food in the heart of “Big South Fork Country,” this spot is considered to be one of the Upper Cumberland’s best-kept secrets.

East Fork Stables

East Fork Stables is the area’s premiere location for horseback trail riding. Located on the western edge of the Cumberland Plateau, East Fork features over 100 miles of equestrian-only trails with varying levels of difficulty, abundant wildlife, waterfalls and more.

Pickett State Park

Pickett State Park rents campsites and rental cabins, and it features more than 58 miles of hiking trails. The park has also been certified as a dark sky viewing location, an area free of artificial light pollution.

R.M. Brooks Store

Established in 1917, the R.M. Brooks General Store is a local landmark. Owned by the same family for a hundred years, stepping into Brooks Store is like stepping back in time. Even as years go by, the general store remains a testament to the ever more distant past. The store is entirely original to the period, giving visitors a glimpse of what life was like around the turn of the century in rural Tennessee. Stop by for breakfast or lunch and experience a genuine piece of early twentieth-century Americana.

Rugby

Rugby is a historic Victorian English village. Established in 1880, Rugby was created as a utopian community. Today, visitors enjoy shopping, dining and lodging in the historic settlement.

The Big South Fork National Park

The Big South Fork National Park encompasses 125,000 acres and features whitewater paddling, rock climbing, camping, hunting and hiking adventures and horseback riding. With over 212 miles of equestrian-only trails and stunning scenic views, Big South Fork is one of the top horseback riding destinations in the South. Riding trails range from easy day rides to challenging multi-day pack trips through the park’s expansive and rugged wilderness.

The Sawbriar

Enjoy a world-class wingshooting experience at the Sawbriar, one of the finest bird hunting destination in the southeast, providing hunting, lodging and meals on site. Zenith Stables

Located in the Big South Fork National Park, Zenith Stables has 40 camping sites, 53 barn stalls and easy access to over 200 miles of horse trails in the national park.
